My Story

I'm completing this challenge to support my local adults’ hospice, St Barnabas House, by stepping out for the charity walk, Night to Remember, this July - the only mass participation event in 2024.

St Barnabas House were there for us as a family when Bruce was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in 2011, with respite care, family support and in-patient care in his final days.
Nothing was too much trouble and gave me the opportunity  to be his wife, not his carer.

Taking part in Night to Remember is one way we are able to pay back a tiny part of what they gave us and a way to pay it forward for anyone that needs their support

Together we’re stronger - and by supporting this event, with every stride taken, we’ll help families make memories of their own, bringing light to even the darkest of nights.
